Here she is in all her toddler glory. Isn't she lovely? Mary Ann Ratcliff, graduate of ? ___1961?
Submitted by Eve Baskerville
Mary Ann Ratcliff Williams graduated 1960 and she lives here in Granbury
where I live. She is married to Bob Williams and he retired from Ford Motor
Co. Did a lot of traveling going behind storms, etc. and writing up cars that
had been damaged from the storms. Mary Ann sells real estate.

Mary Ann Ratcliff's mother, "Fay", at one time worked as a secretary at the
Coca-Cola Co. and her father, "Stone" , worked as a salesman there . When Mary
Ann came along, I thought she was the cutest little girl I had ever seen. She
is a beauty today...in looks and soul. Today she lives in Arizona.

Marilyn became a teacher and lived most of her life in New Orleans where she died last year. (Around 2006)
Anna is married to Pete, had two children and travels all over the world but still manages to get back to Minden to visit sister Lyda and her friends at reunions.

Stevie Fombie - 2-1/2 years old
From Pin-Up Baby to Policeman to Politician
We just never new about Henry Fomby's Boy
He is a true Servant of the People
And could do a mean "alligator" on the dance floor.
I am sure Carl Shaw has a silly nickname for Steve
but to all of his dance partners and to Mrs Fomby -
he answers to "Lightning".

Speaking of Sammy Joe, here is a precious memory for everyone who knew him when . . .
We knew him as a Player, a Coach, and a Man among Men
But Who Knew Him as the Admiral on the Good Ship Lollipop??
Your Wistful Correspondent,
Eve
P.S. I will never tell ALL my secrets but you should know that Goon is James Hampton, the for Master Chief Naval Officer, presently retired from a decorated career in the Navy which say action in the Far East, (as in Vietnam) South (as in New Zealand) and now Far West as in Seattle. Jim is also a Basketball Scout for the University of Phoenix. He didn't graduate with us but went to MHS in 1961 and 1962.
Seedtick is Danny Nation is the former Consummate Cotton King of Webster Parish now married to
Mrs. Nation who deserves him far more than I did. Danny graduated with us in 1964. His twin sister one of our cheerleaders, Diana also graduated with us but we lost her to a tragic accident only a few years later. Seedtick is a silly misnomer because Danny is a giant of man who walks tall and runs faster almost as fast as Hoss Langley- I oughta know - I chased him all over Richardson St when Uncle Pat Nation wasn't looking.

Here are a pair of little bitty buddies from the neighborhood near Tillman pasture.
Eve Baskerville on the occasion of her 1 year old birthday and Jerry Rodgers judging from the lack of a cake ... perhaps a little younger. I'll bet Aunt Lucille from "The Little Store" fixed him one when the time came though!
And for your information, Carl Shaw . . . I didn't even know Goon or Seedtick until you double-timed me with Debra Blankenship and broke my little heart. It is a good thing they were waiting in the wings or I would have never have recovered. And just where were you when Jim made his visit home last week?
Your travelin correspondent back from N'Awlins,
Eve

Because of this picture I have been in many movies, always starring as the service station attendant that you see way in the background, washing a windshield. Also, because of this picture, I have invested heavily in the oil business. Just today I invested $75.00 to fill my truck.
If you will notice, Cheryl is just below me in the paper, dripping ice cream all over my new blue jeans.
I always had a crush on Eve but she was always too busy noticing Goon Hampton and Seed tick Nation. This caused me to marry my first and second X wife from Doyline.
Did anyone notice, in the book "MINDEN" that more than half of the starting team on that '64 Team went to WESTSIDE? Just goes to show you doesn't it? Clearly a superior bunch of kids.
Carl Shaw

Today's Baby Boomer is Petite
She is Cheryl Miller Benit.
Still married to MHS basketball star Jerry
and proud mother of New Orleans attorney Keith.
She is known to Maddie and Jonathan as Cheddy
Her brother Charles graduated from MHS in 1953.
In this picture she screamed for ice cream
Pop made sure she had all she could eat
Today her tastes leaned toward cream brulee
As a hostess and a gardener she is better than Martha Stewart
As my friend she is better than chicken soup or
turnip greens, or black-eyed peas, or corn-bread or peach cobbler or . . .
