DR. TERRI HEBERT

Dr. Terri Hebert, MHS graduate of 1976, recently completed writing and editing a book entitled, "High-Stakes Testing: Practices that Improve Student Learning. It explores true stories of 45 teachers in Arkansas and Texas who have found a way to bring a sense of caring and hope into today's classroom, even though we are bombarded with high stakes testing and accountability issues. Dr. Hebert currently serves as Assistant Professor in the College of Education on the campus of the University of Central Arkansas. She is Program Coordinator of the Advanced Studies in Teaching and Learning graduate program, as well as Co-Facilitator of UCA's Non-Traditional Licensure Program. Dr. Hebert also teaches and oversees undergraduate middle school educators. She attended Stephen F. Austin State University and graduate with her Ed.D. in Secondary Education/Educational Leadership in 2006. Prior to that, Dr. Hebert also attended the University of Texas at Tyler (Master of Science in Educational Technology, 2000) and Louisiana Tech University (Bachelor of Arts in Elementary Education, 1985; Bachelor of Arts in Library Science, 1983).
