DREW SIMMONS

CLASS OF 1955

Another 1954 football player was Drew Simmons, son of Jewel M. and Robert A.
Simmons. He was married but one known time to a lady named  Beverly who died in 2000.

Drew played right end and shared that position with Robert Miller. He may have
also shared the position of left end with Clifford Taylor.

Some of you may also remember that Drew was also on the championship track team. 

After graduation he went on to Louisiana Tech and graduated in 1960.
He worked in retail sales for twenty-five years.

In 1995 he was a sales representative for a wholesale steel company in
Minden, La.

Today, Drew Simmons is a resident of Minden, Louisiana.
