                               SECRETARY OF STATE SWEARING IN CEREMONY

                          Business man, Jason Lumpkin and Bob Kennon Jr. "cousins" were both born in
                          Minden, Louisiana.

                           Jay Dardenne and Bob Kennon Jr. are in the same Law Firm in Baton Rouge, La.

Attending the swearing in ceremony at Louisiana's old State capitol were Honorable Jay Dardenne left, Secretary of State of Louisiana, Bogalusa businessman Jason Lumpkin Sr. and wife Ann, center, and Cathy Berry, right, assisance secretary to Dardenne. The oath of office was given by U. S. District Judge Frank Polozola whom Dardenne once served as a law clerk, and 19th  Judicial District Lou Daniel.  Dardenne is in the Law Firm of Kennon, Odom, and Dardenne.

                             COUSIN CLAN                                

         This was a recent Catahoula duck hunting event with Eddy Lumpkin, Harry Lewis, Herman Ratcliff and Jason Lumpkin.

         Every year these cousins get together for an annual trip of hunting or fishing. They carry some big hooks and a lot of

         shells, when out in the field or in open water.

         They are grandsons of the late Mr. and Mrs. Eugene H. Lumpkin Sr. of Minden, Louisiana.

                              DUCK PLUCKING

Harry and Herman are both retired and have picked up a new job. They are giving Eddy a plucking lesson so he can put it on his next resume.
