Funeral services for Doyle R. “Spud” Rhame of Minden will be conducted today (Sunday, January 20)at 2 p.m. at the Minden Rose-Neath Chapel with Rev.  P. S. Hightower officiating.  Interment will follow in the Gardens of Memory Cemetery.

 Mr. Rhame passed away Friday, January 18 at his residence following a sudden illness.  He was 55.Mr. Rhame was born in Center, TX, was a resident of Minden most of his life.  Hewas employed with Arkla Gas where he was a Service Technician and a Veteran.

 Survivors include his wife, Carmen Rhame, Minden; mother, Edna Rhame, Shreveport two sons, Greg Rhame, Minden, Rusty and wife, Shirley Rhame, Shreveport; three sisters, Billie Ruth Lang, Brownsville, TX; Catherine Campbell, Kirbyville, TX; and LaNell Adams, Orange, TX; one brother, Sydney Rhame, Jr., Oklahoma City, OK; three grandchildren, several adopted grandchildren, several nieces and nephews.
